Our Story

We’re on a quest to improve people’s health… through coffee. From toxins in food and the environment to stress and a lack of work-life balance, it can make us sick—often we don’t know why. With so much conflicting information out there about what we should be eating to achieve better health, the decision-making process

Andrew and Amber Salisbury's journey to improved health led to the creation of Purity Coffee®. Initially, Amber was dealing with extreme fatigue, and despite maintaining a healthy lifestyle, her condition did not improve. Concerned about the effects of her coffee consumption, Andrew researched its health impacts with experts from Vanderbilt University's Institute of Coffee Studies. Contrary to popular belief, they discovered coffee's numerous health benefits, including its positive effects on diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, Alzheimer's, and cancer due to its antioxidant properties. Motivated by these findings, the Salisburys, along with partners Jon and Missy Butcher, developed Purity Coffee, focusing on health benefits, environmental and social responsibility, and sustainable practices. Their mission is to maximize coffee's potential for individual and planetary well-being, establishing relationships with conscientious farmers and maintaining a climate-positive approach.
