Remember me and load/performance testing? I was escaping this topic for the last 3 years, because I had too much of it and needed to recover a bit. My recovery went well, now I'm feeling refreshed and open to that domain area again. It’s hard to sit idle, so, together with my friend Oles Pisarenko we developed a new Open Source load generator tool. We named it “Encarno”. It is all OSS, very small, just sharing for those interested: https://lnkd.in/dvwFWgHP. It is written in Golang and built to be used via Taurus. It is able to generate a lot of hits/s from a single machine, with precise load profile and response measurements. Maybe we’ll add some k8s flavors to it later.
